#148 - Jonathan Mizzi (Maltese-British architect, designer, and artist) [S13:E3]

This week on the Wonderspace Podcast we orbit over Malta where we find our guest Jonathan Mizzi.
Jonathan is the founder of Mizzi studios, an award winning nature inspired architecture and design practice dedicated to mapping out a resilient and sustainable future through climate responsive design solutions.
"I started to dive deeper into planetary science and permaculture and how we look at architecture from a much deeper interconnected system”.
In this episode Jonathan talks about a recent commission to design one of the worlds first permanent carbon pavilions set within a carbon garden at the Royal Botanical Institute of Kew which will be opening this summer.
He finishes this fascinating interview with advice for anyone pursuing architecture as a career.
Jonathan was nominated by curator and consultant Vanessa Norwood who you can hear in EP120.
