This week on Wonderspace we ask our six questions to Caroline Casey. An award-winning social entrepreneur and activist who’s passion is to release the social and economic potential of the 1.3 billion people in the world with a disability. Her own story is extraordinary from finding out she was legally blind only at the age of 17 years old, to her decision at 28 to leave her job with Accenture and trek across India solo on an elephant to raise inclusivity awareness.
Today as the founder of Valuable500, Caroline is leading a disability inclusion revolution by positioning disability on the global business leadership agenda. Since launching in 2019 over 500 companies have put disability inclusion on the leadership agenda and made a commitment to action but as you will hear, they have only just got started.
Thanks to the brilliant Charlotte Armstrong for her role in making this interview happen.
