Season Finale - The Future with special guest Jasmine Woolley

Jasmine Woolley is employed as a Business Analyst at IBM.

She is currently completing a Master of National Security Policy studies at the Australian National University. She has interned with the Counterterrorism Group as a Counterrorism Analyst and OSINT Liaison Officer for the SOUTHCOM region. She has spoken on the Threat Intelligence Podcast regarding security concerns in Latin America.

She also interned with the Asia Pacific Research Centre for the Responsibility to Protect where she created policy recommendations for Security Sector Reform.

In this season finale LP and LV chat to Jasmine, who has already achieved so much at 20 years old and is clearly on track to make a big impact on the cybersecurity industry.

Jasmine shares her journey in cybersecurity so far, what it has been like to start out in the industry, the importance of building a network and her experiences as a First Nations Woman.

She also shares insights on the impact of public speaking coaching program for women in cyber - Project Friedman, her experiences presenting for the first time on cybersecurity at AusCERT (a major cybersecurity conference in Australia), including how she prepared for her incredibly well received talk on 'Applying First Nations philosophy to cybersecurity strategies'.  Jasmine also shares her ambitions for the future, her thoughts on diversity and being a role model as well as her plans for speaking again.
LP and LV would like to thank you for listening to season 1  -  hoping this has helped you in some way with your public speaking journey and/or your support of people in your life, pursuing their own public speaking journey.  We look forward to hearing these new voices out there in the future and to cheering them on!
