E24: Essential Self-Care Practices for Maintaining Your Self-Confidence

Self-care is a term we hear a lot, often paired with social media posts of someone doing something nice for their body, like getting a massage or mani-pedi. But less talked about and less sexy is the kind of self-care that focuses on our inside - our mental health, which affects our confidence and the way we show up for ourselves and others.

In this episode, communications expert Amber Rose West will give you two essential and transformative self-care practices that you may never have heard of before. Put these in your rotation to maintain higher levels of self-confidence in yourself, in your head, in your emotions, and in your mental state. Instead of a “fake-it-til-you-make-it” strategy in which you portray confidence you don’t really feel, Amber, teaches you how to exude authentic confidence that comes from the inside out.

These two practices will help you be more attractive, not just in your appearance but in the energy you have in your life. They will help you attract more positive people and opportunities and build more happiness and fulfillment.

  • Loving yourself more is important - but that idea can be very overwhelming if you’re struggling to like yourself. But liking yourself can be small daily actions that will prepare you for the climb of loving yourself.
  • When we open the door to liking ourselves, others will start to like us too.
  • Amber gives concrete ideas on how to like yourself and what to say to help you reinforce this positive behavior.
