This episode features Melanie Brochu, a Forensic Explosive Chemist, for the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. From Sudbury, Ontario, Melanie has worked for the RCMP for the past 16 years and is a mother of two. After high school, she went to Laurentian University, followed by College.
Melanie shares her journey of how she got into forensic science in the first place, what it’s like working in a male-dominated field, what a typical day looks like for a Forensic Explosives Chemist, and much more. We also finish off with some fun rapid-fire questions!
