This episode features Vicki Gruber, the Director of Safety & Security / Harbour Master at Hamilton-Oshawa Port Authority. Vicki is responsible for the harbour operations, port security, emergency management and health & safety portfolios for HOPA Ports. She is also the designated Port Security Officer for both Hamilton and Oshawa locations. Vicki became Harbour Master in 2014, after starting at the port in 2006 working in security on the Port Patrol team. She is one of just two female Harbour Masters at the 17 Canada Port Authorities.

Vicki shares her journey of getting into the industry, the importance of the marine industry especially for transported goods, the coolest part about her job as a Harbour Master, and much more. We also finish off with some fun rapid-fire questions!
