This episode features Diane Reko, the Chief Executive Officer and Chair of the Board of Directors of Reko International Group Inc., a publicly-traded, certified women's manufacturing company located in Lakeshore, Ontario.
Reko International Group Inc has a highly technical workforce and performs precision machining of extremely large parts for various industries; designs and manufactures complex automation equipment; and manufactures tooling and testing equipment for the automotive industry. When Reko International Group started as a small company in 1976, the manufacturing world was very different and every employee felt like family. Since then, the company has grown and manufacturing has changed over the years, but they still cherish the importance of a family atmosphere and the respect for employees’ families.
Diane shares her journey of how she got into the manufacturing industry, all about Reko, what her position as CEO entails, and much more. We also finish off with some fun rapid-fire questions!
