Welcome to the St. Clair College Women in STEM speaker series Podcast, brought to you by the Genesis Entrepreneurship Centre, located in Windsor, Ontario, Canada.

This episode features Air Canada Pilot, Laura Cayley. Laura is Windsor born and raised, then went to Seneca College for Aviation and Flight Technology, where she completed her flying training. She now has been working for Air Canada as a pilot for 15 years.

Laura shares her journey of what made her decide to become a pilot, what it’s like working in a male-dominated field with only about 5% of airline transport license pilots being female, what a typical schedule looks like for a pilot, and much more. We also finish off with some fun rapid-fire questions!
