I’m your host, Janelle Anderson, and in Episode 61 I chat with Kim Matura. Kim is an ordinary woman just like you and me, working her job for 21 years in Procurement for 21 years. Born and raised in Arizona, Kim now lives as a single empty nester. She has two kids, a son who is married and a daughter who was recently engaged. Kim, divorced now for 20 years, realized one day that she was bored and maybe even was boring. She was not living life to the fullest, and she thought about what she would be doing if she had a life partner. They would go on fun dates and have great fun experiences. Then it dawned on her that she could go out and have her own fun dates with herself! So, what started as a whim, turned into a life changing journey. In this episode, you’ll hear from Kim Matura as she shares all about her personal project, “A Year of Dating Me.” We chat about the adventures she took herself on, what those experiences were like, what she learned and how she changed along the way.
