En este episodio, Daniela Galán conversa con la artista brasileña Ayla Tavares sobre su innovador trabajo en cerámica, explorando la materialidad, la ciencia y su recorrido como artista brasileña en España.

En este episodio, escucharás sobre:

  • El enfoque único de Ayla en la cerámica y su observación crítica a la la arqueología
  • Su rigurosa investigación científica sobre la permeabilidad del agua y las membranas y como estas historias son narradas en la cerámica.
  • La cerámica como objetos interactivos que transforman el espacio e invitan al espectador a participar
  • Obras que exploran la forma de la cerámica como canales de comunicación e intercambio
  • Reflexiones de Ayla sobre identidad artística, y sus experiencias como artista brasileña en Europa.

Ayla Tavares, nacida en Río de Janeiro, Brazil, une arqueología y arte, creando obras en cerámica que revelan narrativas olvidadas, evocan la memoria e invitan al espectador a imaginar formas alternas de habitar el mundo. Ayla ha expuesto en importantes espacios como el Museo Eva Klabin en Río de Janeiro, Frieze London y Lamb Gallery, y en 2025 realizará su primera exposición individual en París con HATCH Gallery.
