In this episode, we bring you a conversation we had with Peruvian artist Cecilia Paredes during Photo London in May 2023, where she exhibited with Echo Fine Arts. Paredes uses her body as a performative vessel while merging painting, sculpture and photography. While she initially appears as the main subject in each of her photo performances, her work explores a wide range of themes such as exile, integration and connection to nature.
