42. Healing Trauma through Nervous System Regulation with Aeryn O'Halloran

Our nervous systems are as ancient as life on Earth. They control much of what we do on a daily basis without our conscious awareness, and yet many of us don't know much about them (or the fact that they're the key to healing trauma and stress-related chronic illness!)

Aeryn O'Halloran went through years of trauma and a laundry list of chronic illness diagnoses as a result, tried all kinds of conventional and alternative interventions, but nothing transformed her health quite like nervous system regulation and somatic experiencing. Now, she is passionate about helping people recover from trauma, chronic illness and C-vid using food and nervous system regulation as the foundations to rebuild their health upon.

Join us to learn:

  • Aeryn's experience growing up in a religious cult which resulted in disassociation from her body and chronic illness
  • Signs your nervous system is dysregulated
  • The different states of our nervous system and how to identify which state you're in
  • What causes nervous system dysregulation in the first place
  • Why you don't have to remember your trauma to heal it
  • The path to healing our nervous system
