The Dangerous Drugs law has provisions that protect the innocent. Non presentation of the informant in this case seemed to militate against the claim of the police for any buy bust operation. Weight of shabu/methamphetamine hydrochloride was not indicated in any of the documentary evidence done by the police officers and it was only in the chemistry report which made their operation suspicious.
