Hello everyone 😊 . Welcome to Season Two. In this new episode , my dear friend Aquil Quraisy shared the story of his life . Moving to UK at the age of 5 with his grandma, unfortunately, he had to experience racism, colourism, bullying, and many more of the devilial side of humanity since he was a little kid . Living in a judgemental society , It has became a norm in this era to be judgmental. As a man himself, he incredibly opens up about his journey. He bravely SPEAK OUT LOUD on what it’s like to survive a suicide attempt. What it’s like to start the new chapter and create your own definition of a authentic life . Through this conversation, i learned a lot from him. His courage to step out from his dark season is such an inspiration. Having a discussion with him taught me to several important issues such as depression and mental health. Being open and aware that they exist and you shouldn’t be shamed to talk about it. This was one of the purest conversation I’ve ever had and if some of you are having a very dark and difficult phase in your life, i hope this one will help you to go through it .
