Alessandra "Lessie" Innes is a clerk in her uncle's antique and occult bookstore. She has a penchant for yarn crafts and Pagan practices, swears too much, is neurodivergent and loves retro music and fashions. After helping a young fellow with a very strange request, her life quickly tumbles into chaos as she is hunted down by shadowy figures and aided by gods and supernatural beings. She soon finds out that nothing is as it seems and that her own past is far weirder than she ever knew. Will she be able to learn the depths of her own magical abilities before dark enemies close in?

Witchery S01E05: The Note In The Book

As she discovers her flat has been broken into and wrecked by intruders unknown, Lessie finds her aunt and uncle missing and a mysterious note in a book that appeared in her room. With her home targeted, Lessie must flee, and the only people she has to turn to are a strange individual who claims to be an ancient tree nymph and the hot guy she met that morning who has the ability to transform into a lynx. How will she protect Ashika with the new turn of events, and what does her future hold now everything she loved has been torn away from her?

Producer's Notes: Unfortunately the file I was editing the podcast on died just as I was completing the final mix, so this episode is a bit rough around the edges. I will be striving to acquire better hardware so this doesn't happen yet again.
