The Women In Radiology Education, or WIRED, podcast was created with our group’s mission in mind: empowering, supporting, and inspiring women. Dr. Geraldine B. McGinty is a Diagnostic Radiologist and Professor of Clinical Radiology at Weill Cornell Medicine in New York City, New York. Dr. McGinty also serves as the Senior Associate Dean for clinical affairs at Weill Cornell and is an internationally recognized expert in imaging economics. She currently serves as the Chief Strategy Officer and Contracting Officer for the Weill Cornell Physician Organization in New York City. With a rich background in radiology, she has held prominent positions such as Chair of the ACR's Board of Chancellors and has contributed significantly to the American College of Radiology and AMA’s Relative Value Update Committee. Dr. McGinty has a unique perspective on healthcare, combining her medical expertise with an MBA from Columbia University. In this podcast, Dr. McGinty shares insights from her extensive career, her pioneering work in payment models for imaging, and her recent focus on AI in healthcare.
