Episode 19: Reflections from the 2nd Edition of The LawDown Africa’s Law Career Fair: The Experience and Takeaways

The second edition of The LawDown Africa’s Law Career Fair (The LawDown Africa is our sister publication) went down on 12th July 2025. It was a day dedicated to unboxing the law for young lawyers and law students through 17 masterclasses and a panel discussion curated to facilitate learning, networking, and mentorship.

Our parent company, Jurorbox, is passionate about learning; hence, all its affiliates are learning-centered. So, we took the time to learn more about our career fair’s impact from the attendees' perspective. In this special episode, our Founder, Dissi Obanda, teams up with our team member, Sylvia Njoki, in a conversation with six attendees from the July 12th law career event as they unpack their experiences.

Listen to Abraham Kioko, Adeline Kiptoo, Favour Christabellah, Oketch Odhiambo, Lennox Kirianki, Favour Christabellah, and Rahmashueb Abdikadir as they recount their experience at The LawDown Africa’s career fair. All six are law students who are either in law school or completing their pupillage. If you missed the fair, we hope this episode will encourage you to attend the next one.
