#45 Schema Therapy (Jeffrey Young et al, 2003)

This week we discuss Schema Therapy by Jeffrey Young et al. Will interviews Luke on his understandings gained from this great book. We go into what a schema is, where they come from, schema modes, the 5 basic emotional needs and how to address the more maladaptive schemas in our lives. Also the impacts of how having rigid schemas and coping styles that aren't flexible to new information can be problematic. We try to frame this discussion through a self development lense for the general listener. Hope you enjoy.
