Douglas, WY is a small, sleepy town on the edge of the oil fields and the railroad tracks. It has a really rich history and very proud historians and even the old Pioneer Cemetery is cared for and revered. This town loves its Wild West origins, almost as much as it loves the Depression Era joke that got so out of hand, the animal these Douglas boys created in their taxidermy shop would echo through Wyoming history for decades to come. Learn about the Jackalope and why you can only get a hunting license in Douglas.
