Can women enter Indonesian politics?

In this episode, we are lucky to have the founder of Girls Can Lead Indonesia, Rachael Abigail, who has also worked alongside numerous Indonesia politicians. We talked about the chances and implications of women to enter Indonesian politics. We started by discussing what feminism means to her and whether feminism is a Western value that contradicts with Indonesian traditional and religious values. We then talked about the ways, or the lack thereof, for women to enter politics. We then brainstormed solutions to how we can ensure that more women participate in politics, translating to more women-friendly policies in Indonesia.
