In this episode Hannah discusses the critical role of boundaries in personal well-being and self-worth. She shares her journey of learning to set boundaries, especially as a woman in her 30s, and emphasizes the importance of saying no to protect one's energy and emotional health. The only reason you need to say no to attending an event, a coffee meetup, or just generally being “unavailable” is that you don’t want to go/don’t have enough in the tank right now. Hannah explores the challenges of people-pleasing and how it relates to our self-worth, encouraging listeners to prioritize their needs and communicate their limits, as sometimes people aren’t aware of our boundaries! The episode concludes with a voluntary call to action for listeners to identify and implement boundaries in their own lives that they know would benefit them, but the discomfort is holding them back. Remember, by setting your own boundaries, you are inspiring others to also choose themselves! You are worthy just as you are, without needing to prove it.
