Even though the conversation got pretty heavy, what an absolute honour and thrill it was to welcome thinker, writer, philosopher, and psychology student, Emily Rodgers! The words "I am free," - Emily's resounding response to our big question - were the rich inspiration for a frank, candid, curious, sometimes worrying conversation on personal freedom, critical thinking, and responsibility for the reality we are each creating for ourselves, and for our world. We talked about value, meaning, the concept of objective truth, morality, and justice. We also talked about what can happen (hello, world) when realities clash and our truth/reality impinges on another's truth/reality. Much to Glenn's and my delight, we also got to hear a teenager's perspective on what's happening in our corner of the globe concerning the potential impact of newly mandated health passes as our daughter Mylana joined in on the conscious conversation about halfway through. Beliefs, consciousness, responsibility, empowerment, freedom, and how to apply our freedom all made it into the conversation. We also talked about Emily's recently released, very poignant video/letter calling out Prime Minster Justin Trudeau for how our country is currently being led. This, and so much more...!
