THE WOMEN'S BANK SWINDLE

In 1887, in New York, two  female con artists opened a phony “bank for ladies”. They then swindled over  $1 million (in today’s money), from dozens of the richest families in the  city.

This episode shares the story with you – told entirely in Whisper, by Kit Caren.
