In the WYA's ep2, the structure is a bit different. Mackenzie interviews her two best friends because one of them was microphone shy and needed a buddy...I won't be naming any names.
Break the ice: check out the Playing Cards: Actually Curious- "In 2018, we created Actually Curious as a tool to spread empathy and fight divisiveness in this country. Playing a fun and competitive card game is a sneakily effective way of disarming the defenses and getting into important topics."

Cathie and Mackenzie met in middle school on their club soccer team. Mackenzie felt threatened when she noticed Cathie becoming close with her twin best friends. But her jealously died down when her and Cathie started to become close.
Cathie and Mac met Ryan in high school, where they navigated every anxie teen experience together. They talk about the "right of passage" which is also known as the first time they all got high, separately. Ryan shares his One Hit Wonder story and Cathie and Mac confess about the time the two almost die while sneaking out of Mackenzie's second story window.
As high school ends, the threat of college pulls them away from each other and all their mischief. Toward the end of the episode, they discuss their different experiences and how its help shape them into where they are now. They discuss their issues with commitment. Not only the fear of commitment in relationships but also in their careers.
During this recorded episode, Cathie was applying to jobs but update here- she accepted a job offer and is moving to Denver, CO in January 2021. so proud!
