Episode 03 - Chapter 3

In this week's episode of Where Minds Connect, co-hosts Dania Niles and Nik-Keshia Moodie discuss their higher values, including gratitude, service, truthfulness, and compassion. Shetty shares that these higher values are what will give us happiness, fulfillment, and meaning. In comparison, Jay Shetty suggests readers avoid lower values. Examples of common lower values include greed, lust, anger, and envy. The outcome of these lower values is a combination of anxiety, depression, and suffering (Story Shots, 2021).

This month’s book of discussion is Think Like A Monk by Jay Shetty. Think Like A Monk teaches us how to create peace and everyday purpose by learning to let go of the things that no longer serve us, growing in areas of our lives that demand an upgrade and giving back to the universe and those who require our light to help them transform and lead lives they desire.
