Great catching up with WMU Associate Head Coach Pat Fershweiler in this episode as he joined Fred Pletsch & I. We went back to Pat’s hockey roots in the state of Minnesota, his college recruitment by Minnesota Duluth & later Western Michigan, where he finished his college playing career. Plus, how he got his start in coaching, his time with the Detroit Red Wings, his return to Western Michigan , his time in pro hockey as a player, which features a great story about Gordie Howe! We also talked with Pat about the 2019-20 NCHC season, and some advice for young players and parents, great stuff from Pat!!
