Can everyone really lead? What does that look like?
We’re coming from the Kansas Leadership Center, an organization that is publishing a book called When Everyone Leads.
Leadership is something you do. Not something you are. Leadership is about putting the challenge at the center and working with other people, not just taking charge.
We’ve been sent on a quest. This book inspires us, but how do people actually put it into practice? How does this apply to civic issues? What is clear? What is messy and complicated?

What would happen if everyone led on improving the public education system? What does it look like to work across factions when it comes to the topic of schools adapting to our ever-changing society?
Join Chris and Brianna in conversation with Dr. Randy Watson for a rich dialogue on an episode of When Everyone Leads: The Podcast.
Dr. Randy Watson has served as the Kansas Commissioner of Education since November 2014. His long-time career in education spans nearly every level of the field, all while serving Kansas students - first as a teacher and coach, followed by administrative positions as principal and superintendent, and as part-time faculty for higher education. During his tenure with the Kansas State Department of Education, Dr. Watson has become known for his passion to position Kansas as an innovator in rethinking a century-old school model.
