On the 8th of March, it is International Women’s Day. We would like to use this opportunity to dive into gender equality in science and more specifically at the TU Delft. What is the status quo when it comes to ratios of men and women at the TU Delft, both at the student and employee level? And are the opportunities the same?

We invited professor Hanneke Takkenberg, chairwomen of the Dutch network of female professors and Zofia Lukszo, a member of DEWIS at the TU Delft, which tries to achieve a ratio between male and female scientists that reflect society better. Together with them, we talk about inequality, whether it is a problem and what everyone, not only women, can do in order to create equal chances for everyone.
