Ato Ulzen-Appiah is a trailblazing social entrepreneur, consultant, and blogger whose work has made a significant impact on the youth and technology landscape in Ghana. Ato is best known as the co-founder of Barcamp Ghana and Junior Camp Ghana, two organizations that champion youth volunteerism in the country.
Ato's academic credentials are as impressive as his social entrepreneurship feats. He earned his bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and his master's degree in Construction and Engineering Management from Stanford University. He has overseen numerous initiatives that have helped to spur the growth of technology communities in Africa, including his work at Google as a program manager, where he spearheaded the development of sustainable tech communities across the continent.
