"Opus" (2025)

Another Cult-Horror Film?!?!... Why not? This week, Preston guesses the plot to the latest film in the genre from A24, when Emily and Preston watch Opus. In the same vain as other great Cult-Horror movies like The Invitation (2025), Midsommar (2019), The Menu (2022), this film follows a Global Pop Star who hasn't been seen since he left the public spotlight in the 1990's. Now, thirty years later... he's back. And he still has an army of followers who are willing to do anything he asks. Starring Ayo Edebiri (The Bear, Inside Out 2, Big Mouth), John Malkovich (Being John Malkovich, In the Line of Fire, Dangerous Liasions), and Juliette Lewis (Cape Fear, Strange Days, From Dusk Till Dawn, Yellowjackets).
