Welcome back to What's Up: Wellness from the 3rd Floor! For today's topic, Whitney and Makayla deep dive into the world of toxic weight loss trends on social media, specifically Ozempic, a diabetes medication that has been popularly misused on social media for weight loss. We also discuss the impact these trends have on us, the intersectionality between racism and fatphobia, why we should deconstruct the use of BMI, and how we can begin to move past weight loss trends in a healthy way.
