What is neurodivergent?
-Differing in mental or neurological function from what is considered typical or normal (frequently used with reference to autistic spectrum disorders); not neurotypical.
What is neurotypical?
-People whose brain functions and processes information in a way that is considered “typical” or in line with the majority of the population. - Examples: being socially interactive with social cues, jokes/sarcasm easily reading body language and facial expressions
