Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Organisational Design with Dr. Julian Waters-Lynch

Dr. Julian Water-Lynch is an academic, strategic designer and learning facilitator. He is currently director of the entrepreneurship program and a lecturer in entrepreneurship, innovation and organisational design in the School of Management at RMIT University.

His research explores the economic and social effects of emerging technology, and how these changes impact the changing character of work and organisational design. He works with the Centre for Digital Ethnography, Blockchain Innovation Hub and Centre for Urban Research at RMIT.

His recent research has focused on the commercialisation of deep technology and individual and organisational adaptations in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, including practices that support both productivity and wellbeing in the new work context.

In this episode, Pete & Dave talk with Dr. Julian Waters-Lynch about Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Organisational Design.

Julian's recent article on mRNA vaccines and technology in the Conversation.

Note: “At one point during this podcast Jules implied that Stanford University didn’t significantly financially benefit from the founding of Google but subsequently realised this is incorrect. Stanford University actually held the license for the google page rank algorithm and received shares in Google."
