What would Ted Lasso Do? We have been asking ourselves this question to get us through the day, to get us through this past year, and to help us navigate the surreal time in which we live. In this podcast, not only do we geek out on Ted Lasso, but we do it through the lens of positive psychology and leadership. Some may see this as just a show, but we have found life-altering lessons in each episode and break them down so you don’t have to. So, whether you’re a diehard TedHead, new to the fandom, fascinated with the world of Positive Psychology, or just want to be a better leader, come along on this rollercoaster journey with us. Together, we can begin to learn what it actually means to BELIEVE.

So Long, Farewell

So Long, Farewell
Well TedHeads–here we are at the end of the “Ted Lasso” yellow brick road, and our final episode! This week Dimple and Jeff delve into Episode 12: "So Long, Farewell” and much like the TV show, come full circle and find some closure. In this episode we look at where our cast of characters end up and the various leadership and positive psychology themes from all three seasons that show up once more. We reflect on change, perfectionism, and always remembering that we’ll forever be, “works in prog-mess.” We have bittersweet feelings about this being our final episode, but we’re both filled with immense gratitude, not only for the opportunity to make this show, but for the connections we’ve made with many of you along the way. Thank YOU for joining us on this journey. Our greatest hope is that more of us will embody the “Lasso Way” and live life with curiosity, vulnerability, forgiveness, and grace. We’ll end by echoing the sentiments of AFC Richmond and simply say–so long, farewell, thank you for everything, and please keep in touch!  In This Episode [09:16] Growth and empowerment [10:04] Vulnerability and the fear of losing those we hold dear [10:46] Why our actions and words can have a profound impact on those around us [14:03] True love and support involve selflessness and the willingness to put someone else's happiness above our own [23:40] Choosing happiness over other people’s perceptions of success [30:09] The interconnectedness of people's lives and the impact they have on each other [33:09] The impact of our perceptions on our ability to change [36:30] How our personal standards lead us to judge others [42:44] The emptiness that can come from prioritizing material success over meaningful relationships  [48:22] The unsaid magic of connection  [55:50] How team connection creates humility [01:01:42] The reality of how growth happens [01:05:55] Embodying the concept of “Believe” [01:13:02] The power of the collective [01:23:42] Series takeaways [01:27:01] Acknowledgment and gratitude Resources & Links Mentions Brendan Hunt Responds to the Roy and Keeley Storyline -  https://collider.com/ted-lasso-brendan-hunt-roy-keeley-comments/   Ted Lasso Finale Easter Eggs -  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aQX8QMbnjuI  #WWTLD  https://www.wwtldpodcast.com/ https://twitter.com/wwtldpodcast/ https://www.facebook.com/wwtldpodcast/ https://www.instagram.com/wwtldpodcast/ Learn More About Dimple Dhabalia  https://www.rootsintheclouds.com/ https://twitter.com/dimpstory https://www.instagram.com/dimpstory/ https://www.facebook.com/dimpstory https://www.linkedin.com/in/dimpstory Why Radically Human Leadership Is More Important Than Ever https://www.rootsintheclouds.com/blog/why-radically-human-leadership-is-more-important-than-ever 4 Steps to Creating A Human-Centered Organization https://www.rootsintheclouds.com/blog/004-4-steps-to-creating-a-human-centered-organization Learn More About Jeff Harry  https://www.rediscoveryourplay.com/ https://twitter.com/jeffharryplays https://www.instagram.com/jeffharryplays/ https://www.linkedin.com/in/jeffharryplays/ https://www.youtube.com/jeffharryplays https://www.tiktok.com/@jeffharryplays Building Psychological Safety At Work https://www.rediscoveryourplay.com/building-psychological-safety Solve Your Problem With Play https://www.rediscoveryourplay.com/coaching Jeff’s Positive Psychology Playlist https://www.rediscoveryourplay.com/playlist
