Keith Urban’s High and Alive World Tour hits Dickies Arena in Fort Worth Thursday night at 7, promising what fans hail as one of music’s best live experiences. Listeners will get classics, surprises, and guitar mastery from the four-time Grammy winner – Chase Matthew, Alana Springsteen and Karley Scott Collins round out the tour lineup for an unforgettable evening. Over at Klyde Warren Park, the annual Party in the Park continues Thursday with food, drinks, and live entertainment all benefiting the beloved green space.

On Friday, sports fans can head to American Airlines Center for the annual Dallas Mavericks Fan Jam. It’s a free event where you’ll get a sneak peek at the new season’s team, including No. 1 draft pick Cooper Flagg. There are open practices, giveaways, and plenty of concession deals. If you’re into theater, basically every corner of DFW is buzzing; Theatre Three’s “The Trade: A Tragedy in Four Quarters” pokes fun at basketball czars and their baffling streaks, while Soul Rep Theatre and Bishop Arts have August Wilson’s drama King Hedley II on stage.

Music lovers can catch Djo, also known as Joe Keery from Stranger Things, performing Friday at The Pavilion at Toyota Music Factory in Irving. Megan Moroney, country music’s rising star, plays three straight nights at Texas Trust CU Theatre in Grand Prairie. Or, if classic rock and Broadway are more your style, check out WaterTower Theatre’s concert “BWY x NTX” in Plano Friday through Sunday, or The Rocky Horror Show running at Lyric Stage in Dallas.

Saturday brings October Madness 2025 to Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth with a show for car and truck fans, plus a main stage concert. Ticketón reports your pass includes access to Garage displays, the burnout pit, and vehicle shows – plus kids under 10 are free. If you’re more into the movies, Majestic Theatre celebrates the 15th anniversary of “Twilight” with a live ensemble performing the score along with the full film.

For a dose of drama, The Mousetrap and Rumors continue at Garland’s Granville Arts Center and Coppell Arts Center respectively, serving up comedy and classic murder-mystery whodunits. Deep Ellum Art Co. gives listeners an indie music fix all weekend, and for a journey into the woods – quite literally – James Lapine and Stephen Sondheim’s “Into the Woods” runs at New Vida Church of God in Richardson.

Whether it’s concerts, sports, theater, festivals, or a gearhead gathering, Dallas-Fort Worth has entertainment for all tastes this week and weekend. Thanks for tuning in and don’t forget to subscribe. This has been a quiet please production, for more check out quiet please dot ai.
