Today we are joined by model, comedian, and all-around fantastic human Wren Parker. We kick off the interview discussing how Wren moved from Utah to NYC after getting recruited by a modeling agency to be a curve/plus-sized model. Today she works with huge companies like Skims, Retrofete, and more, and she gives us an inside peak into what the life of a model looks like behind the scenes. Next, we talk about her journey navigating some of the highs and lows of her life, including the loss of her father; her journey with faith & leaving the Mormon community she grew up in; growing comfortable with the lack of certainty in life; and embracing the fact that we are all flawed and never going to be a "finished product." Along the way, we touch on her comedy career as well as her budding new relationship. We also laugh, feel like we're going to cry, and marvel at some of the wisdom she has for us and the listeners.
