Reinventing Yourself After Trauma| Finding Purpose

Trauma can shift the way we see ourselves and the world around us. In this episode, Ali shares her experience with being bullied by other girls in high school and finally having the chance to reinvent herself after years of doubting her beauty and creativity.

They also covered recognizing that all black girls aren't assertive and confrontational, and the importance of creating safe spaces for the soft and delicate girls in school and in the world. This episode carries a relatable story of the quiet shy girl who has found her voice and seeking her purpose in this world.

Continue to honor your resilience, protect your heart and mind, and secure your future with us. What She Said is run by Girl Stance Inc, a 501c3 non-profit organization that inspires, empowers, and guides girls to strengthen internal resources to navigate dysfunctional patterns at the level of thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.
