What She Said, is a space for black girls and young adults to transition in graceful, poise, and respected women, with unconditional acceptance of who they are and support for who they want to be. To all black girls: come as you are. Don’t hide your mess, confusion, stress, or process. If you’ve been overcoming trauma from bullying, microaggressions, feeling outcasted, or an unharmonious relationship with family - you’re in the right place and you’re not alone. In each episode, you’ll hear black girls 18-24 share stories similar to yours and speak their truth without feeling judged or guilty.

In our current society, we live amongst people who may overshare and persuade you to contribute to conversations that are draining and triggering. In this episode, Aaliyah joins us to talk about the importance of boundaries. She switched it up and asked the host some interesting topics as well. She also shares with us details of her upbringing in the church. Aaliyah comes with nuggets of wisdom as a 27-year-old sharing her journey with our rising youth.
