1. Matt Steele – Authentic listening
On this episode, our guest is Matt Steele, and we discuss authentic listening and a brilliant free, online listening platform that Matt has developed called Redacto. Matt is the former Head of Innovation and Development for the ELT Division at OUP and has been a teacher and teacher trainer on and off for 25 years. As a JavaScript developer he builds tools and platforms for language teachers and learners. We regret to inform you that the Redacto platform has been retired since the release of this episode. You can learn more about Redacto via their Twitter page at www.twitter.com/redactoUk or by emailing Matt directly at matt@brightlylit.co.uk. This podcast has been brought to you by Oxford Language Performance (OLP), an independent education provider with the principles of confident communication and personalisation at the core. To learn more about what we do please check out www.oxfordlp.org. If you tweet, you can follow our podcast at www.twitter.com/whatonearthisa. As ever, we hope you enjoyed listening to this episode and please do get in touch with any questions or comments you have at info@oxfordlp.org.
