"What I Don't Want You to Know" is a podcast that dares to explore the hidden, unspoken truths that often lie beneath the surface of human experiences. In a world where we tend to share the more presentable aspects of our lives under the label of "what I want you to know," this podcast delves into the uncomfortable and vulnerable truths that are often kept concealed.

Each episode takes guests and listeners through 5 questions - "what I want you to know" "what I don't want you to know" "why I didn't want you to know" "what I've learnt from sharing (what I don't want you to know)" and "what I'm working on at the moment".

“What I Don't Want You to Know" is realm of complex truths, messiness, awkwardness, humour, and sincere dialogue. We believe that it’s these courageous and candid conversations that actually allow us to heal + grow. There’s something so liberating in getting free from what has previously held us back…

We also hope that this podcast inspires a little more bravery in the world…

WIDWYTK - Ep 3 Lisa Messenger

Welcome to “What I don’t want you to know…” we are so excited to share this juicy, rich and raw episode with you.

In this conversation, (the extraordinary) Lisa Messenger shares her journey of personal growth, overcoming adversity, and embracing possibility. She discusses the evolution of her priorities and the shift from ego-driven achievements to a focus on personal growth and helping others. Lisa opens up about her experiences with miscarriage and fertility struggles, highlighting the importance of de-stigmatising these topics. She also explores the challenges of asking for help and the burden of self-reliance.

Overall, Lisa's story is a testament to the power of vulnerability, connection, and self-belief. Reflecting on her past experiences and the duality of life, Lisa shares her journey of grieving and letting go, and the importance of holding things lightly, emphasising the need to trust the universe and continue to grow and challenge oneself. She also discusses the lessons she has learned from sharing her dark spaces and the process of breaking and remaking a business.

Lisa highlights the importance of having the right people around you… (we concur)… concluding that true success is found in building close relationships, finding mentors and support, and making time for play - we couldn’t agree more!!!

Enjoy the goosebumps.. we did!

Go gently…

Em & Tan xx
