Welcome back listeners to this month's instalment of We've got back issues.
This time, your heroes, Sleeves and Galactosh, are travelling back in time to the beginning of the Marvel Empire. And it's a very different time indeed.
War is on the horizon in Europe, but over in America, they're more interested in the deeds of comic characters. Maybe not so different after all....
Join the lads as they overcome different standards of both politics and storytelling as they try to answer various questions such as; why are everyone called rats? Why do things just happen? Can you tell the same story more than once in the same comic? Is this racist? Is this sexist? Was every character a psychopath in the 30's? Can everything be solved by melting it?
All these questions and more will be answered as you listen the boys discussing Marvel Comics #1 in the latest, greatest installment of We've got back issues.
