Welcome to season two of the Wet Ass Portland podcast. We took a hiatus over the holidays which turned out to be approximately one season long, so we figured we would dive back in fresh and new with a second season. Today we divulge in our sex education! Two of us went to public school, one in Oregon and one in California, and one of us went to private school. Overwhelmingly these systems failed to teach us about safely exploring our bodies and others. Both inside and outside of school we were given tools and lessons that instilled shame, secrecy and embarrassment around sex—ugh! Thankfully the three of us have found other resources and people who have helped us learn to embrace ourselves and feel empowered to explore sex.
