"The Gunfighter" from Screen Director's Playhouse starring Gregory Peck aired June 7, 1951. Aging notorious gunfighter, Jimmy Ringo, trying to leave his past behind rides into town to find his true love, who doesn't want to see him. He hasn't come looking for trouble, but trouble finds him around every corner. This is a fantastic story, and without question, one of the best Westerns ever made.
