Episode 174 - Asking for Help (Because Crying in the Pantry isn't a Long-Term Strategy!)
It takes a village to raise a child... or does it? In this episode, Loree and Lauren look into the chaotic world of modern parenting, where networking feels impossible, and isolation is just part of the gig. They chat about the struggle of asking for help (because who doesn’t love pretending they’ve got it all together?), and how grandparents fit into the equation, no matter where they may be geographically.

The duo also tackles the role of technology in making family bonds stronger (or just sending your kids into a YouTube rabbit hole for hours), and the ever-elusive balance of power between parents and schools. Loree and Lauren remind us that it’s okay to question the rules—even your own. By the end of this episode, you’ll be ready to take on parenting (maybe) with a village of support or at least a group text chain that kind of counts as a community. Get ready for some real talk about the messiness of raising kids, finding your people, and learning that asking for help is not a sign of weakness—unless you're asking your toddler to help clean up their toys. In that case, good luck!
