Modern relationships are often complicated by expectations, lack of understanding and lack of communications. Whether its a romantic partner, friends, relatives or colleagues; the aforementioned factors play a huge part in influencing a relationship and the subsequent success of it. For centuries, philosophers have emphasised the importance of reducing expectations and understanding more. If we add to this effective communication, relationships will start being a lot more successful in life.
