Felix Butzek, better known as DJ Darko, hails from Germany and has been active as a DJ and producer since his early teens. On his SoundCloud profile, he describes himself as a “20 years old DJ and Producer from Germany” specialising in Tech House, UK Garage, Lo-Fi House, Beats and Techno. He discovered his passion for music at a very young age, reportedly listening to many different styles from the age of two, and began DJing around the age of 12. DJ Darko’s sound is broad and eclectic: he moves between Lo-Fi House, UK Garage, Tech House, Beats, Deep House and Techno. His DJ sets and productions tend to emphasise driving basslines, hypnotic rhythm sections, and cinematic or atmospheric build-ups (especially noted on his mix released via Electric Bird Traxx).
