This first Episode of Chapter 5, "The Love Chapter", Zeeya sits down with lawyer and content creator Temina Semo for an honest conversation about self-love and self-acceptance. Talking about Temina's approach from when it all begun in boarding school which lacked awareness and information around teaching children on what loving yourself would encompass of, through Temina sharing how she was trying to be many different things on the internet during high school all the way to her finally embracing what resonates with her.
The focus of this conversation gives our listeners simple strategies, for how to go about making changes for self growth and developing a stronger bond and connection to one’s values.
Temina’s Journey in its entirety encompasses of having being brought up in a stereotypical African set-up which requires children to choose academics, then being pushed by family to complete advocate exams, doing it only to realise this may not be fulfilling.
