Welcome to the Wellbeing Designers Podcast! We discover how we can design the future of well being together so we can create human-centric organizations and a sustainable work life. In the first season of the podcast, I talked with the first generation of wellbeing leaders in big organizations. Usually, they were the very first ones in their organization ever to have the title of head of well being or similar. In the second season, starting with episode nine, you will meet similar people again. And I invited some other interesting profiles as well. All these people work on wellbeing on a systemic level. Their mission is related to make the world a better place through focusing on wellbeing. In the past years, especially since COVID, employee well being got on the top of the agenda, not only for companies worldwide, but even some countries and other official institutions started to call for action. In the Wellbeing Designers podcast-conversations, I would like to highlight the work of those sometimes invisible people, leaders, who are either in charge of well being in organizations and trying to navigate amongst the growing amount of well being offerings while connecting efforts. to business impact, and most importantly, create real value for employees. Or, they are those leaders who are doing their best to create international forums to exchange, raise awareness, and take action on wellbeing and people's sustainability. They might be the ones whose responsibility is to take care of hundreds, thousands, or ten thousands of people's wellbeing. They might be the ones who keep decision makers and CEOs engaged about the topic of well being. They might be the ones. who are proving that employee well being is a strategic enabler of sustainable performance and business success. They might be the connectors between well being leaders across companies and countries. I call these people wellbeing designers. Enjoy listening to them and learning from them. Together we can design a human centric work life and the future of well being.

Kacy Fleming: Designing Wellbeing as Head, Global Well-Being @Takeda | Episode 11
πŸ”‡ Episode 11 of the Wellbeing Designers with Kacy Flaming, Head of Global Wellbeing at Takeda is out today! πŸŽ™οΈ To make you even more curious to tune in and listen to our conversation, let's do a small quiz! Guess which of the following is NOT true! 1 - 2 - 3 ? Kacy... 1 - ... started her career as an actress before climbing the corporate ladder in pharmaceuticals as a strategic director and recently wellbeing leader 2 - ... considers the ways of working as the main problem to tackle in organisational wellbeing and in society 3 - ... is convinced that up-skilling individuals with wellbeing skills is the way to go because it's a quick fix 😎 To find out the right answer, you need to tune in;) My personal highlight of our conversation was: ✨ learning about the dimensions of wellbeing, an approach Takeda developed in collaboration with Thrive Global and Arianna Huffington βœ‹ hearing her way of taking care of her own wellbeing: setting boundaries! This is my mantra as well. And it is so difficult - we agreed on this! πŸ™‹πŸΎ she is one of the first ones amongst the wellbeing leaders who I have been talking to, who proactively highlights gender health (including menopause, female health) at the workplace as one of the focus areas of their work Reach out to us via LinkedIn https://www.linkedin.com/in/kasingact https://www.linkedin.com/in/rekadeak/
