Chickens, raptors, and corvids, oh my! This episode, we’re virtually sitting down with local bird woman and Grace’s close friend and grad school roommate, Tori Pinheiro, to chat bird-based hobbies, AuDHD, rat sacks, neurodivergent friendships, stroganoff season, and so much more.
In Part 1 of our conversation, Tori shares about her ADHD diagnosis, why she initially resisted the autism aspect of her AuDHD and what finally changed, how stimulant medication reduced her social anxiety, the internalized shame that comes with being an odd AuDHD child, and the ways she accommodates her sensory needs now (for the sake of herself and everyone around her).
