Season 1 Episode 2: Mental Health for Moms MATTERS (Conversation with Mommy Sara Jane Legaspi Limson-Navarro

Join us in another podcast episode with Mommy Sara Jane Legaspi Limson-Navarro to unravel the challenges moms of special needs children go through. Helping parents feel more capable and effective in caring for their child with special needs may reduce the risk of depression. A simple word of acknowledgment and encouragement can make a huge difference for a struggling parent. Enhancing access to increased social supports, through respite services or support groups, may help parents manage their own stress and feelings of isolation. Let's come together in bringing support to mothers' mental health.
